It’s easy to spark the interest of children. Inspirations are boundless in the minds of kids. Woodworking is one hobby or profession that kids can learn to love early on. As they grow, they learn the value of building things on their own, which makes woodworking a practical hobby. Steve Sorensen.
 Parents and teachers must remember that woodworking should never be intimidating for a child. Avoid scaring them with the tools, rather explain to them their uses and show them how to use the tools safely. Instilling the craft of woodworking to children takes a lot of patience and love. Parents who are woodworkers by trade or hobby know for a fact that having a child in the workshop can be both exciting and terrifying. When it comes to allowing the child to touch tools, be sure that they are under parental supervision. If they are still too young to handle heavy tools, introduce them to the craft by using toys. They will remember the names of the tools when they grow up, and they will know when and how to use it on wood. Set some rules in the workshop, and be strict in implementing them.
